Scouts from across Kentdale met up on Sunday 25th September to take part in the annual Lewis Baron Trophy competition.
Held this year around Sedbergh, Scouts from Hawkshead, Windermere, Kendal, Holme, and Sedbergh completed various challenges as they hiked around an eight mile course. Problems they had to solve included lighting a fire without matches, dealing with an unconscious casualty, making a cup of tea, and accurately measuring quantities of water.
The closely fought event was won jointly by the teams from Hawkshead and Windermere Scouts.
Assistant District Commissioner for Scouts, Bill Davidson, said that "it was great to see so many girls and boys from across the District competing at such a high standard over a challenging event."
